Body plan- They have a three part body plan, visceral mass, the mantle, and the foot, they have bilateral symmetry. The visceral mass is the central sections of the body of the mollusk, which contains mollusk's organs. The outside of the visceral mass is a heavy fold called the mantle which is made of tissue, which secretes the mollusks shell. The foot is a muscular region, and it is used primarily for locomotion.
